Honorary Marshal
Gayle Parker, Circuit Clerk Harrison County

    Having 40 years experience in public service and administration including Chief Court Administrator for Hancock, Harrison, and Stone counties and currently as Clerk of Circuit and County courts of Harrison County — Gayle Parker still finds time to provide advice and support to many service, religious, and institutional organizations.  And recently was appointed by Lt. Governor Amy Tuck to the Mississippi Commission on the Status of Women.
    She has been a recipient of many awards including The Liberty bell Award, the Mississippi Justice Achievement Award and the Gulf Coast Women of Achievement Award.
    As a lifelong member of St.Paul Catholic Church of Pass Christian, she has served as President of the St. Paul Carnival Association and participated as a Mardi Gras Queen.  With her husband of more than 40 years, there are three daughters and four grandchildren.
    In recognition of her dignity and diligence in public services, Gayle Parker has been selected as the first female public official to serve as Honorary Marshal for the St. Patrick’s Parade sponsored by the Krewe of Blarney and the public officials of Pass Christian.
